陈伟钰课题组的研究聚焦于氧化应激和炎症反应,旨在探讨动脉粥样硬化及相关心血管疾病的病理机制和治疗方法。陈伟钰PI既往的研究创新性地证实了内源性抗氧化剂胆红素有效防治心血管及相关代谢疾病的作用及机制。目前课题组主要关注内源抗氧化物对不稳定动脉粥样斑块的作用及机制研究。


本课题组为青年学者提供良好的科研环境和学术氛围、完善的科研训练体系,齐备的科研仪器配置,稳定充足的经费支持,  国内外知名团队合作平台。 课题组非常重视细节的累积,对科学实事求是精神的坚持,通过对实验记录、课题进展、会议记录实施电子化存档透明管理,将细节与坚持融入在每日的实验与团队工作当中。在此基础上,课题组鼓励青年学者追求独创性和批判性思维,促进跨团队,跨领域,跨国界交流,支持个人事业的发展,不断完善推进心血管疾病理论和应用研究的发展。


陈伟钰教授于2019年在The University of New South Wales (澳大利亚新南威尔士大学) 获得博士学位,主要研究胆红素对心血管及代谢系统的保护作用及机制,为抗氧化剂治疗动脉粥样硬化、胰岛素耐受、非酒精性脂肪肝提供了重要的医学研究基础。2019至2023年,他先后在Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (澳洲张任谦心血管研究所) 和The Heart Research Institute (澳洲心脏研究所),The University of Sydney (悉尼大学) 从事研究工作,聚焦于不稳定性动脉粥样斑块病理机制以及髓过氧化物酶MPO抑制剂逆转不稳定斑块的作用机制。2023年以广州医科大学南山学者第三层次人才项目加入广州医科大学附属第二医院广州心血管疾病研究所。陈伟钰教授曾获国际自由基医学生物协会 (Society for Free Radical Research International) 青年研究奖,The Gordon Research Conference on Chemistry and Biology of Tetrapyrroles 会议奖,The Australian Vascular Biology Society 青年研究奖。共发表学术论文26篇,研究成果以第一作者身份发表在Circulation Research, Redox Biology, Free Radical Biology and Medicine等领域内顶级期刊。
