李万根，男，教授，主任医师，广州医科大学附属第二医院内分泌科主任。社会兼职为广东省医学会内分泌学分会副主任委员和广州市医学会内分泌学分会主任委员。研究兴趣是糖尿病的治疗方案优选。

第一学历为全日制本科医学系，硕士和博士阶段分别攻读甲状腺发病的免疫机制和骨质疏松的细胞学模型方向。曾在奥地利做访问学者。

自2004年开始招收硕士研究生，多次获评优秀研究生导师。
